Haring passionately believed in delivering art to everyone. This vision materialized in 1986 when he opened the "Pop Shop" on Lafayette Street in New York.

The shop sold T-shirts, pins, magnets, toys, and other items designed by Haring himself.

Haring aimed to create a space where everyone could access art, including children from underprivileged neighborhoods.

In 1988, he opened a second location, "Pop Shop Tokyo," in Aoyama, Tokyo.
