This is an official merchandise item from "ACT UP," an organization supporting individuals living with HIV, which originated in New York in March 1987.
ACT UP, a grassroots activist movement made up of independent individuals, protested against the Reagan administration's inadequate crisis management regarding AIDS during that time.
In 1989, Keith Haring created the artwork "Ignorance = Fear, Silence = Death," featuring the three wise monkeys motif, to raise awareness about the government's indifference toward the spread of AIDS.
Haring actively supported ACT UP and its cause.
Various ACT UP chapters continue to fight for structural reforms targeting the stigma, discrimination, and poverty associated with the spread of HIV and AIDS.

Proceeds from the sale of this official merchandise will partially support ACT UP's activities.
