Dinosaur - Kiss Me Again - 12" Single (Limited Red Vinyl)

One-of-a-kind visionary Arthur Russell and legendary club The Gallery founder Nicky Siano created this disco hit, now reissued with remastered audio from the original tapes.

The release includes liner notes from David Byrne (Talking Heads), NYC underground saxophonist Peter Gordon, and trombonist Peter Zummo.

“Kiss Me Again” originated from Russell and Siano’s meeting at The Gallery in 1976. Russell wrote, composed, and arranged the track, recording it in 1977 with Wilbur Bascomb, David Byrne, and Miariam Valle.

Released in 1978 on Sire Records as a 12-inch single, it sold over 300,000 copies.

As one of the first disco records to be co-produced by a DJ, this track marks both a milestone in dance music history and a dazzling showcase of Russell’s songwriting genius.
