Gray – Shades Of ... Anthology – Triple LP Set (Colored Vinyl Edition)

Gray, an experimental band founded in 1979 by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Michael Holman, emerged from the No Wave and New York underground art/music scene. Their sound embodied the noise and chaos of the city, creating an avant-garde sonic landscape. The band's name was inspired by Gray's Anatomy, a medical book that Basquiat avidly read.

Shades Of ... Anthology is a restructured collection that includes long-out-of-print self-released recordings, along with previously unreleased tracks and remixes. The remix lineup features a diverse array of artists, including Todd Rundgren, Hank Shocklee, King Britt, Deantoni Parks, Sal P (Liquid Liquid), Tewz (in collaboration with Kool Keith), Free The Robots, and The Gaslamp Killer.

This collector’s edition includes a 3-LP set on limited edition colored vinyl, along with a booklet and a digital download.
