For this special issue of Permanent Paper—the fashion art poster magazine from New York—we proudly welcome Ferdinando Verderi, former creative director of Italian Vogue. Joining him is legendary Japanese street photographer Keizo Kitajima, known for his raw, hyper-real imagery. We've curated 100 rare photographs from Kitajima’s archive, capturing the intensity and honesty of his work.
Keizo first gained fashion-world fame for his unforgettable Comme des Garçons perfume ads in 1995. Decades later, Ferdinando brought him back into the spotlight with a Prada campaign in 2018—and Keizo’s impact has only grown since.
Permanent Paper is honored to unite these two visionary forces. The result? An unbound, collectible magazine that doubles as a limited-edition poster series—charged with chemistry, creative tension, and undeniable passion.
